Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Thank you all for your continued support over the past 12 months, including another successful conference in Keele. We’d like to take this opportunity (for those who celebrate) to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Have a great time over the holidays and we look forward to another successful year in 2025.  

Chair and Vice Chair Nominations

You should already have received an email about the upcoming elections for the positions of Chair, and Vice Chair of the BDS Main Committee. Nominations for these positions can be made until the 14th December 2024, please put every effort into completing your nominations before this date with elections taking place at the 2025 AGM to be held on the 28th April. For those still to make their nominations, they can be made under the following link: Expression of Interest for BDS Chair and Vice Chair.  

Next BDS Event 

At One Great George Street on the 6th January we shall be having our first in person event of 2025. Further details on the event can be found here and will be made available closer the time.   

Save the date – Next Supervising Engineers Forum

The next Supervising Engineers Forum will be held at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham on Thursday 18th September 2025. We have prepared a short questionnaire to compile ideas and thoughts on the content of the 2025 SE forum – please use the following link - Supervising Engineer’s Forum - pre-event questionnaire

If you wish to participate in the event and have an idea on a presentation, then please do contact John (john.r.foster@mottmac.com) and Mark (mark.colledge@mottmac.com) with your proposal – we will issue a call for presentations again, separately in the New Year.
