The Environment Agency has now published the updated reservoir flood maps. This provides more accurate flood maps for 1,865 reservoirs which includes all large raised reservoirs that were in operation in October 2016.

New guidance is published on GOV.UK and the new RFMs are available:

• Check Your Long Term Flood Risk – where you will be able to view the maximum reservoir flood extent during a wet-day and dry-day scenario.
• Defra Data Services Platform – where you will be able to download the maximum flood extents in a wet-day and dry-day scenario for individual reservoirs as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) layer or as a pdf map.
