The final report for the BDS/Joint Government funded research project “Geophysical methods for reservoir safety investigations” is now available in the Members Area on the BDS website.

The ‘Undergraduate Summer Research’ was undertaken by Calum Park from the University of Glasgow.

The report provides information on available methods and includes a suggested process and look up table that can be used to quickly identify the most appropriate geophysical technique for asset type/location/detection or investigation requirement. We would like to thank Martin Hewitt for undertaking the role of technical mentor and reviewer for this research work, and to Dr Manousos Valyrakis for his support.
