The Reservoir Safety Advisory Group (RSAG) has a new name to better describe what the Group do – they are now called the Research Advisory Group for Reservoir Safety (RAGRS). They will be running a workshop at the BDS Conference this year to update delegates on current research and provide the opportunity to shape the future of reservoir research over the coming years. One important project, initiated through RAGRS, that has recently been kicked off is an update of the CIRIA Guide on Valves, pipework and associated equipment in dams.
