Following an earlier scoping study, the Environment Agency has now commissioned the Risk Assessment for Reservoirs project (SC090001). The objective of this project is to implement the recommendations from the scoping study, namely the development of a framework for risk assessment of reservoirs, along with supporting methods for analysis and an update of the Interim Guide (2004). This approach builds from earlier risk approaches developed in the UK along with current international practice.

 

To help ensure that the risk framework meets the requirements of a range of potential end users, we are seeking feedback via a questionnaire which can be found in the members area of the BDS website at: http://www.britishdams.org/members/research.asp

 

Any readers who would like to participate in this survey are asked to follow the instructions provided on the questionnaire and to return their responses not later than Thursday 16th June.
